I’m going to participate in a panel on MFA, residencies, and grants today at San Diego Writers, Ink around noon! My topic is “How to choose an MFA program.” Here’s the nutshell version of it: 1. Know why you value the program/degree, 2. Look at schools with full funding, and 3. Weigh all the other factors and prioritize (location, class size, number of elective courses, etc.).
