June Assignment: For those of you who started early, and began working on story ideas in April, and selecting and crafting scenes or “polaroids” in May, use June to work on a full draft of a story or a complete novel excerpt. Use the entire month to write, free from editing, self-criticism, and revision. Work in whatever way best suits you, whether it’s a page a day or four hours a week. Form a habit of writing this month, and complete your first draft of the story or novel chapter.

Bonus Assignment: Write down the synopsis to 10 books or stories that you wish existed because you’d die to read them. Make each synopsis about a paragraph long. Then begin writing the story/book that draws you the most.
