Funding: [A]ll admitted students for 2017-18 will receive full tuition coverage and a stipend (most requiring teaching). In addition, each will receive a Global Fellowship allowing for travel, writing, and study anywhere outside the United States upon completion of degree requirements. (*In 2015-2016, the stipend was $12,800.)

Application (Deadline Feb. 1):
- Manuscript: up to 40 double-spaced pages for fiction; 10 poems for poetry
- Personal statement: 2-4 pages addressing why you write and/or why you’re choosing to pursue an MFA in creative writing, what you hope to do at BU (and beyond), and why the BU creative writing program is the place for you.
- Updated CV
- Two letters of recommendation
- Official transcripts
- General GRE scores optional
- $95 application fee

Hey! Just to clarify, Boston University’s MFA program only needs two recommendation letters, as of the 2018.
